In order to do anything apart for look pretty, they need some cross-bracing. There's already plenty of metal keeping those fixing points separate from one another, so, if they did a simple x-brace between those mounts, that 'might' be worth having. Obviously BMW's track record of structural failure is not great, but lets see some evidence of it happening before fitting something that doesn't help.
