Uddergate resolved. Want to thank cptobvious for promoting the lazy man's approach to this. Tried to remove the diffuser which ended up in me just scratching it, so I just masked everything up, cleaned it and sprayed away. Looks pretty good to me.
Did the whole 'curing the paint' thing but I think that was useless. I touched the exhaust after idling for 20 min and it wasn't even warm.
