I started with a 12/10 set up based on all the recommendations I got on this forum and immediately regretted it so I switched to a 15/15. It's perfect.
I would consider that the max you should go especially if you plan on lowering the car to a good looking ride height. Any wider and you'll probably rub and the tires will be out past the fenders.
Also keep in mind that you will be kicking up way more stones into your side skirts and fenders so PPF might not be a bad idea.
