Here some arguments in favor of MT:
- you can press the clutch at any time and rev the engine
- you can rev your engine high and burn the tires
- doing toe and heel
And some in favor of DCT:
- fuel efficiency (do not laugh)
- impossible to over rev the engine (useful on track, nowadays all engines can be checked for over revs)
- tired use automatic, in shape switch to manual shifting
- optimized launch control
- different gear setup
- better resell value ?
