I don't think it's that we our gasoline isn't as "good", but more that the us ots maps are based on e10 fuel in general. I can't comment on consistency of the gas, but if we had bad gas all the stock cars wouldn't be running probably. Typically from what I've read the issues usually start after the tunes and generally because someone is using an ots tune. Gotta match the tune to the fuel. I have a feeling that if people having issues with Chevron 94 would increase their ethanol content w e85 it would stop the pinging. Of course at that point the octane will also be higher
