So the dealer updated iDrive and the software throughout the car. Car originally came with Telephone and Media version 3.x, which was subsequently updated to 5.x and is now 6.x after this last update. Precise version:

Noticing any performance improvements? There is a thread going on right now that the latest software ups the boost target and updates the shifting of the DCT if you have it.
