Is absolute performance even critical at track days? You're not competing or anything, it's just about enjoying the drive.

I get that it's fun being able to say "my car is faster than yours" but really. What do we love about our cars? It's the feeling you get when driving it. How you feel when looking at it. Thinking about it.

I haven't driven the TT but I don't like the girly looks, the girly image, the fact that it's an Audi, the AWD, the general blandness of the thing...
