I think the wide angle of the video is exaggerating the throw. Take a look at this video at the 9:05 mark comparing the M4 DCT and 6MT--the throws look better to me, but still a bit long.
I'm torn on the choice for the M2. I love the DCT in my M4, but the 6MT feels like the proper choice for an M2 that is going to be a driver engagement car.
