I've always been a fan of Matt Farah and his reviews on The Smoking Tire and /DRIVE.

I really enjoyed this video and you can see how much fun he is having the entire time!

Matt is one of my favorite automotive journalists. He doesn't sugar coat anything, he just honestly tells it like it is. You always know he loves something when he says "ohh, this is very good, this is very good!" and his non-stop grinning says it all.

Actually he sugarcoats everything. He will never roast a car when the owner is sitting in the passenger seat or the manufacturer is giving him a free trackday. You can tell which of his reactions are genuine though.

I really like Matt but he should get his facts checked...

In the first minute or so he says the M2 is 200lbs less than the M4 which is wrong... it's only 80lbs less (MT vs. MT)

I watched his fiesta M3 comparison and was not impressed with his automotive sophistication. I prefer Chris Harris. Matt came across like a frat bro.

Although I remember one video where he was with a guy who has a high powered N54 with stock brakes and he bashed how severely underbraked it was. His face/tone says it all. Watch like 5 of his videos and you'll see this.

I think some early media stuff with Euro cars that were stripped and manual were reported to be close to 200 lbs lighter so that might be where he got that. I find that in general many of these videos non youtube misquote specs and when I hear that it is tough to take them seriously but Matt has a very solid reputation so I am sure it was just an oversight on his part.

Good review though, happy to see he likes the steering.

Yeah, I remember that he cooked the stock brakes on a TPC Cayman S, too, and did not pull punches on that one either.

Actually he does say stuff---he told the guy with the IS300 that he needed to have the suspension sorted out to deal with the horsepower. And he said something else to the guy with the turbo mad hatter e34 5 series/M5.

I'm to a point where I can't stand watching this guy anymore.

He's not an impressive driver at all. And his slamming the M2 into 2nd is uncalled for.

Plus, if anything is overweight its him. He has a fat mouth and he goes to all the tracks with his cameras. He pales in comparison to guys like Chris Harris.

And, he reminds me of the DE champions that love passing slower cars and claiming a "win."

I saw this guy at grid life!! Everyone was doing sweet drifts and he was there just taking corners and driving fast... I thought he was there just to video the other guys lmao. Not one single drift...

EDIT: my 10 year old brother could drift better XD or at least attempt a drift...
