As soon as they said "drag strip" I said "who cares" ... regardless of the spanking the Mustang took

Great stuff

I'm not sure I agree about the Mustang being better vfm just because it's cheaper.

The DCT is a gem. The M2 is a gem. Winning combo, but I'd choose a manual M2

Looks like Ford likes to keep the Mustang's launch control buttons old school. I immediately thought of a VCR lol

Isn't the base GT350 a better comparison/matchup for the M2? A GT can be had for $32k new...

I feel like the gap between the two was large enough to where the rest of the world had moved on before the GT has crossed the line... oh wait, there it goes!

13.4 in the 1/4 is an absolutely horrendous time for a stock 5.0.

I'd still pick the M2 (not a big fan of the new Mustangs), but nonetheless, bad driver.

We can't be sure, but perhaps the GT driver just liked the M2's booty so much that they lost just to watch it walk away.

There's worse things to look at!

The DCT is an incredible transmission. I'm completely shocked how heavy Mustangs have gotten. My 01 cobra weighs ~3100 lb -- stock it weighed just 3380... and we didn't do anything crazy as far as weight reduction is concerned either.

Wow that was a spanking! Is this for real? I really thought the current mustang would do much better than that. Not what I expected.

How did they get a 4.3 0-60 for the M2? BMW quotes 4.1 and it seems likely the real number is closer to 3.9. What gives?
