Photo shoot: BMW M3 E46 vs BMW M2 Coupe at the Cote d'Azur

During my visit in the Cote d'Azur last month I did a photo shoot with my car and a friend's car which is the BMW M3 E46 visible on the photos.

Not going to add much, just enjoy the pictures. Oh, for your information this photo shoot was done before all the cf parts were fitted and it had a carbon fiber roof wrap.

Photos by Julien Hubert Photographie: https://www.facebook.com/JulienHubertPhotography/?

More coming soon, since the car is often photographed and will hopefully have a lot more new parts fitted.

Nice pics! I can probably duplicate this photoshoot minus the location, haha. My buddy has a 2003 M3 in Mystic Blue and I have a LBB M2, so it would be pretty close, lol!!

What is the significance of the vinyl? I see Cars and Coffee, what exactly was that for? I know that you've been traveling around a bunch, so I was just curious...

That is fantastic! Love how similar in size they are. Can't wait for my M2.

What vinyl? The stickers are from the Cars and Coffee Italy Rally which I drove with the M2. Videos can be found on the Shmee150 YouTube channel.

I work with and for the people of Cars and Coffee Italy as a consultant so I was on their first rally. We drove a number of mountain passes near Bologna and used the car for the Mille Miglia dressed like this.

It now looks different as you may have seen in other topics.

Amazing! Love how close in size they are, it's like the E46 had some modern plastic surgery and became the M2.

You can really see it, take off the longer front overhang and higher bonnet in the M2 (for improved crash performance, no doubt) and they'd look like a new and an old version of each other.

The E46 is just so timeless. You could tell people it's a 2016 and it would not be out of place

Wow the E46 is so much more of a natural beauty, whereas the M2 has forced lines.

The e46 M3 looks much smaller than the M2. I figured they were the same size until I saw these pics.
