Its unbelievable how different LBB looks in indoor vs outdoor shots. If LBB actually looked like the indoor shots I'd 100% get it however I'll stick with AW with M performance parts.

Agree. Sometimes I see a well staged photo and think "eh, not bad" and then I see 12 more pics that reinforce my opinion that it's not a good looking color.

If I remember correctly, Valencia Orange was a brand new color used as the launch color for the 1M. It has since been used in other non M models, but at least the baby M did it first. With the M2, not only will it launch with a color already used by another M model, but it will launch with a color already used by a non M model. The X4 M40i will hit western shores earlier than the M2.

This just shows what a great color LBB is. Not the standard "dull" colors with the same faces over and over again.

This comes from a black M235i driver.

This is not what the color looks like unfortunately.

I actually took a picture of a LBB X6M and sat there looking at the phone pic and the car itself... It's amazing how different the colors looked.

I would definitely get LBB if purchasing the M2.

But I'm not sure if the exterior design is doing it for me though. I kind of prefer the way the M4 looks.

LBB looks great in this video but the color doesn't look like this in person. It basically looks like the launch video clips, that they also show in this video. You can see the true turquoise color in the launch video.

Thanks for posting the video.

Are we sure that this isn't a pre production model with estoril blue instead of long beach? That looks exactly like estoril to me.

It does look like Estoril Blue in this video but it is definitely LBB.I have taken pictures of the X6M outside in LBB.When you look at the actual color,it definitely looks turquoise blue but then when you take a look at the picture,it looks very similar to Estoril Blue.Pictures make the color look much darker than what the color actually looks like.I actually really like the look of LBB and that is why I already ordered my M2 in LBB.

One way to tell is to look at the brake calipers. The blue on the brakes matches with EBII. It is not a direct match to the LBB which is more turquoise in colour.

Why on Earth would BMW give a magazine to make a video with a pre-production M2 in a colour that isn't even available?!!

Some of the rubbish people post on here is mind-blowing.

The same reason they're not allowing them to drive it, car isn't ready. Manufacturers always use pre production models in videos, hell some even use pre production models for the reviewers to drive so I don't see where the rubbish is coming from, you must be 12.

I've already seen an X5M in LBB here and it looked ok....was a nice colour but definitely looked more teal-like in the sun.

Why don't you actually READ what I posted?

Why would they give a magazine a car, knowing that it's going to be shown in a video, to lots of potential buyers, in a COLOUR that is NOT AVAILABLE?!!

Why do people think of the most illogical explanations to things, as opposed to the most LOGICAL explanation of that being Long Beach Blue just looks slightly different in varying light conditions?

Because they might offer the colour later and because this is how estoril blue looks in similar lighting conditions, exaclty like the one in the video. You must be colorblind not to tell the difference between long beach blue and this
