Where are you located at? I keep seeing many new people posting about receiving their cars lately saying they had a very long wait.

My wait seemed long cause it was 5 months but 1 year! Would have driven me crazy!

I am in Toronto Canada, ordered Jan 5th, 2016 and was told I would receive a 2016 in June/July, ended up with a 2017 in mid Nov. No quite a year but...we get winter here and I will have to store it until the snow melts in April.

You may find it interesting that the sales guy offered to buy my car for 15k over the price I paid! He had a customer request he make me the offer, guy was unwilling to wait until late 2018 to get one. Said I would think about it....nah. So according to my sale rep, it's a 2 year wait now in Canada.

I can confirm this somewhat...I put my deposit down in September 2016 and was told to expect to receive a MY2018 M2 in December 2017...when news of the M2 CS dropped I went to the dealership to see about changing my order and was told "not to even think about it and that I am lucky to be where I am on the 'base' M2 list".

To OP...Nice car and a shame we just got blasted with all this snow!!
