Looks like I might be on a boat! My online status on mybmw.com just flipped to "Headed to US" last night. Need to call the Genius today at lunch for the details.

I am also on board the Tirranna with you. I expect to take delivery in WA sometime in early to mid December, hopefully before snow comes. I am super excited.

Same here--at port last Friday--except mine is headed to Georgia. So the 11th would be good, actually. One week waiting for a vessel is not bad, as I understand it...

I'm thinking Us midwest/east coast might all get the same boat. For all we know we could have shipped out today but we won't know for another day or two since genius cannot tell until after it has left.

On the RESOLVE, according to 2wglobal. Etd was 11/8, eta in Baltimore 11/22! It didn't show up last night, checked at least 5 times! It's now showing this morning. Must be a 1 day delay. Here's hoping some others are aboard!

My week 43 arrived at port in Southampton, U.K. on Tue this week, it's been released quickly by BMW U.K. and is being delivered to my dealership tomorrow (Thurs). They are then doing the most basic PDI (sat nav, spring blocks and engine release) and will then be delivering her on a low loader to my detailers on Fri. They will then have her for 4 days (suntek, ceramic and carbon parts to be installed), and I'll be picking her up next Friday. Paid for her today and will see my first shot from the dealer tomorrow - this is getting very real now, most excited I've ever been for anything ever! (Plus I've never seen the colour LBB in person, only in mags and on YouTube - hope i made the right call in my last second swap from BSM).

its a bit of green in LBB but you'll like it. media doesn't capture it at all only your own eyes.

The LBB looks awesome in person. You made the right call. Although BSM would be my second choice. My LLB is somewhere on the Atlantic! Can't wait.

Thanks guys, always good to hear the support for LBB, I've had two non M BSMs in a row and the M2 was almost the third (and first ever M car for me). Most say LBB fools most cameras as they find it difficult to accurately reproduce...I had a little wobble last week and became strangely draw to MG as I thought I might like to go around unnoticed for some of the time but then thought what the hell, it's a M car and M cars have a right to stand out!!

LBB was my first choice. Then I was AW with carbon bits all the way. Walked into the dealer to place my order and there was a MG M235 with black kidney grills and side vents and I thought "My God it's beautiful". Placed my order for MG. LOL. I've owned 13 or 14 cars/trucks and they have all been white, black, blue, or gray. I like them all, so you cam imagine my dilemma when the M2 was offered in only....White, black, blue, and gray.

Just called genius to see if boat was still on for arriving the 22nd and they said yes. I asked how long does the car stay at the vpc typically and they said one possibly two weeks!!? Does that seem right? I could see if the car came with major damage but damn that's a long time to process a car. I hope thats not the case. They are calling for snow already by me and any more delays is making me super nervous as I want this car to see zero salt.

1-2 weeks?! Damn I hope not. Mine just got off the boat Sunday the 13th in Baltimore. Was hoping for a miracle and to take delivery on Saturday the 19th. I'm probably being too optimistic though.

i got the same story as well, and that seems awfully long.
