FWIW - when I had the m235i, I was barely able to get a 55” in.

No extra space at all. The box was pushed (more accurately forced) against the inside wheel arches. The plus side is, it definately wasn’t going to be moving around

I fit my 55" Samsung, in the box, in the trunk with the seats down. There were a few inches to spare. The 60 might fit with no box but it would be tight. 65, no way.

We just got a new 65" at work. I just measured the box: 64 inches long by 40 inches wide by 8 inches deep.
