2017 BMW M2 LBB w/ DCT

Hi fellow M2 owners,
I am new to the M2 forum. I recently purchased a 2017 M2. When I heard about this car, I was super excited. The size, power and first M car. In July 2016, I went to a dealership in NY and I was ecstatic to know I could sign up to be #3 on a "list." This would also mean a possible October build and a December 2016 delivery date. I jumped at the chance and have not regretted my decision.

I received a call on December 9, which was also my birthday, that the car was ready to pick up. I couldn't believe it. I picked up the car on December 10. I've driven it about 150 miles so far and have been loving it. The ride is tight, which I am getting used to, coming from a 2013 335 xDrive.

I thought I would share with the M2 community.

Here are my before and afters:

When I picked up the car, first things I noticed were the outstanding color in person, exhaust note is pretty loud and I love the bulldog stance.

After, I picked up the car, I had some modifications such as full nose XPEL paint protection film, some wrapping, changed mirror caps, and install iND spoiler with CRT LBB color strip. I also had my detailer apply opticoat pro. Shout out to my buddy Ryan @TeggysEliteDetailing in NY.

looks great, congrats! Can you post more pics of the iND spoiler with CRT LBB color strip. I was just looking at that a few days ago and thought the little touch on LBB looked cool.

Hey there!
Thank you for your comments about the carbon fiber spoiler with LBB strip. To me, it's a tasteful difference that makes the spoiler stand out from the rest of the carbon fiber spoilers. Of course, each person will have his/her own opinion about how to dress up/down the car. I will try to get a few nice shots of the spoiler when the weather clears up. It's been rainy and snowing the last few days and the car is already dirty.

Pictures coming soon!

Hey guys,

Regarding these carbon fiber mirror caps:

I got these M style carbon fiber mirror caps because I thought it would be something different. Lots of people have the regular carbon fiber caps, which looks nice. I've been waiting for the real M mirror caps, but those might come a little later down the road; maybe BMW will put it on the 2018 M2 LCI? It's certainly a preference and to each his own I guess. These kinds of mirror caps are 50-50 for most people. I happen to like them. So if you like them, go get it. If you don't like the style, stay with the regular carbon caps until they either make M mirror caps or actually come with the car. Hope this helps!
