My M2 with XPEL's new tint + Precut Clear Bra

I had a lot of trouble finding information regarding XPEL's Prime XR Ceramic tint. Its only a year or so old apparently and there are not many user reviews of it, so I figured I'd post my experience with it to help out someone else who might be considering it in the future.

Additionally, I know some people really hate precut paint protection film kits (clear bra) and some don't mind. I paid $650 for the PPF & ~$300 for the tint and I'm extremely happy with the results of the PPF.

Enough words, here are some images.

Benjamin from Bemaro Films prepping to work on my BMW M2 while his partner finishes up the tint work, again products being installed are XPEL Ultimate PPF and XPEL Prime XR Ceramic Tint.

It took ben and his partner around 7 hours to complete my vehicle. It seems like XPEL Ultimate makes a great precut kit for the M2 in my opinion and I'm very happy results specially when you consider what I paid for the PPF. I was told a custom cut full hood/fender setup usually costs between $1100-$2000 (depending on the car of course)

Can you see where the clear bra starts or stops? This PPF does an awesome job blending with the rest of the car. It's pretty much invisible until you get pretty close and only from certain angles.

Here is a shot of the ceramic tint by XPEL - When i was researching tint's I couldn't find many user reviews on XPEL's Prime XR Ceramic tint, but I decided to roll the dice and try it on my vehicle. I figured if they made the best paint protection (clear bra) their tint must be pretty damn good too. This is 35% tint by the way.

Here is another close up shot of the seams on the bottom of the bumper. Again, very hard to notice, if I got just the right angle you might be able to see them a little more clearly - but all said and done. I'm extremely happy with this kit and this installation. If you're in the Los Angeles / Orange County area, check him out.

Thanks for posting. I went with the Xpel XR on my car as well and am pretty happy with it. I haven't had a chance to put it through a Texas summer yet though, so we'll see how it stands up after that.
