Just finished swapping out my center console driving mode switch panel for the 2-series version which includes the rear sensor silencer switch. Got it from ECS Tuning.

So nice to be able to sit in my parking slot and let my car warm up without getting beeped to death. -scr

These look great Pyrat 2 DivideBYZero . One question, is there a gap at the top of the tip where the flat end of the exhaust doesn't recess in to the angle of the tip? Is it obvious? Might tip my OCD haha

That looks great! Can you please give me the part no. of these? Can't find them in the catalogue at my BMW dealer...Only thing I can find is the M5 Competition tips and I don't think that they will fit?

Thanks, appreciate your help.

Used the exact same method, with a rubber mallet, and it took less than 15 minutes. I was pretty generous with WD 40, but not sure it was needed. Chrome is officially a thing of the past!

Part number is 18107853892. I believe they are the M3/4 tips.

Finally arrived today! Won't have them mounted for another week or so cause of my schedule. I'm optimistic that these hyperblack wheels will blend perfect with the BSM Pyrat 2. IND was awesome to work with. I'm lucky enough to live literally walking distance from one of their shops. Thanks Ilia.

Thanks IND!

My day started with a fellow BMW enthusiast in an M3 giving me big thumbs up (made my kid's day too), so I decided to ride this positive wave and visit IND to get LBB side gills for my M2. Got a tour of the premises from Mike and Ryan and got to see IND's M2 with lots of goodies installed (it was being worked on, so some stuff like the diffuser was off). These guys are fantastic! They go above and beyond. They even helped me install the side gills. I didn't expect that. Thanks!
It was good to see some of the juicy bits for the M2 in real life - Eventuri intake, carbon roof, carbon aero bits, etc. Mike also showed me the BMW Performance and RKP diffusers side by side. Quality of RKP carbon definitely matches that of BMW performance parts. If you like the more aggressive look, RKP is the way to go. Also got to see the GTS seats, the roll cage, and the Brembo brake kit installed in IND's M2. That car is sick. Between the carbon lip and the lowering, I didn't even recognize this as an M2 from the front initially.
My LBB next to IND's Alpine White M2 in pictures below.
THANKS IND!

Do you know if this will work with the BMW M Performance Drive Analyzer ODBII dongle?

Looks like a nice step up. Any more pictures of the install, e.g. power tap?

It has it's own proprietary OBD dongle, therefore M Performance can't be used. Lighter plug in, but comes with sufficient cabling fot stealth installation.

Picked mine up Wednesday evening, installed ASD harness today (Saturday).

Dashcams will be added once I get the tint done.

Awesome. Don't expect the same treatment in or around Philly. PPD and highway patrol are straight gangsta.
He was a bridge cop- probably why he was slightly nicer. NYPD has never been nice. EVER.

Ordered these today.
Ever got your caps? How is the fitment/finish? Mind sharing the link? I want to order a pair.
They haven't arrived yet. I will update when i do. eBay has a lot and there's a place in the U.K. that will color match. It's pricy (for plastic) with the pound conversion so I went the eBay set see if I even like them before I waste $300.

Im patiently waiting for you to update us lol
Here you go. I like the look but the quality is terrible. I'll prob just get the gloss black instead of the color matched ones from the U.K. I don't think it's that far off from BSM.

Taking delivery in about 4 weeks so decided to tune (probably) the most restricting part aka the driver ??..

I followed a driving course by BMW and plan on doing the follow up course as well. Good fun and makes you a better driver. Big thumbs up!

I picked it up Wednesday. And then in Saturday I did suntek film (bumper, full bonnet, part front guards, rockers, rear fenders, just behind rear fenders, and top of rear bumper. )

And then I got gtechniq crystal serum And Exo v3 applied.

And then I put on 200km :-)

I have added a few things to my baby M:

1. Full Akrapovic Exhaust & Akra Catless Downpipe
2. FTP Charge Pipe
3. Pagid RS29 Pads
4. Awron Gauge w/ Delete R & Valve Control
5. Akrapovic Carbon Mirror Caps
6. Akrapovic Carbon Rear Diffuser
7. BBS FI-R Wheels 19“ For M2
8. M Performance Steering Wheel Type II
9. M Performance Pedals
10. M Performance Carbon Interior Kit
11. Honeycomb Style Rear Reflector Kit (I made the kit myself, also have a slat style too )
12. M Performance Rear Deck Spoiler

Probably going to do an ECU Tune with WT Intercooler.

I really dig the 3D Design Aero Kit too... but the $$ Ohlins... Brakes... I guess one at a time
