Is the guy in the red shirt the driver of the car? He appears to be pointing out some damage on his bumper caused by the worker's body

Yes I think so. Wouldn't surprise me if he gave him a few kicks in the ribs for good measure after the camera stopped rolling.

Awful, hope the guy is OK.

The sad reality of life is no matter how well you take care of yourself, it can all be taken away instantly either through a complete accident or by the mistakes of others.

Would I get banned for bringing up a common driving stereotype of a certain race of people?

My thoughts exactly. From my perspective, he put a lot of trust in someone that he doesn't know. Having the forethought to eliminate yourself from situations such as these should be essential. If you're going to be dumb you better be tough. The total lack of concern from the guy in the red shirt is somewhat comical. Terrible accident but the entire video is just strange to watch. I'm going to leave the asian drivers comments alone although they are implied.

It's one of those situations where the offender is 100% at fault BUT the victim made themselves vulnerable by being a careless airhead.

Quite a few accidents happen this way and you are 100% accurate. I simply don't trust people enough to be that close or the be in the path of any type of heavy equipment, including cars.

It's basically one of my biggest rules in life: never trust others to do the right thing.

Whether it be when driving, dealing with others in the professional world, dealing with contractors, etc. Always assume the other person is out to screw you until they earn your trust.

I've been burned too much by being nice and assuming other people are nice.

Same here. It has ruined my otherwise normally cheerful personality. My smile and eagerness to start a conversation with complete strangers has been turned to a stern look and lack of desire to speak to most anyone; however, win my trust and we are cool.

Might as well have been. I would imagine greater success in control.
