M2 Production taken from Mexico and back in Germany?

Hi All,

Do any of you know why BMW is moving 2024 M2 production from Mexico back to Germany? My allocation is coming up this week and during a recent conversation with my sales rep. he told me this.

I would be surprised if this was true.

Nothing on the G87 forum backs up the salesman’s story.

Ha! Total line of nonsense. Either the salesman doesn’t know or he chose to lie to make the car more appealing. Enjoy your Hecho en Mexico car!
