Looks to me like supply is catching up with demand. Noticed the used market getting a bit softer as well.

Well, just like anything, once the early adopters get all their fixes the regular market may not see leasing M2 for > M4 as an immediate buy

I know of one 2018 LCI M2 6MT that has been sitting on a dealer's lot for at least 6 weeks. The car is loaded up like a Christmas tree, and they want MSRP. I wasn't interested in the ornaments, and we did not make a deal.

My guess is it will still be on the lot at Christmas.

Must be regional. Have yet to see an M2 sitting on a dealer's lot since day one... unless it's a customer order awaiting delivery.

In Toronto. Most dealers say no discount. There is $1k off if you already have a BMW/MINI.
I called around and managed an offer of $3k+ below list on a MT with some options. I already own a MINI Cooper. It is the end of the year so that likely counts this car has to be built so this is not for a stock vehicle.
