Haven’t had the time to take a picture of the contract and black out my personal information.

I tried hard to get similar terms recently at a dealer I've been buying from for years and years - and who has always treated me fairly. I couldn't get less than 3%, let alone 1% or 0.9%. So again, congrats!

But it does make we wonder .... BMW FS is not in the business of losing money ...
It's possible the dealerships are buying the rate down with profits they're making elsewhere. It would be interesting to know if those of you getting these great rates paid MSRP, over MSRP or under. Were dealer-added options, warranties or services part of these deals? Any of you willing to share that?
I paid MSRP (executive package, apple car play & nitro fill[not sure why I opted for this??]) I did not get any warranties or options that are offered by dealer.

Thanks - what's nitro fill? Nitrogen in the tires? Did you have to pay for that?

And congrats again - it seems I should have negotiated harder.

Can you share the explanation? Or just the gist of it.

Also curious if it's with BMW FS.

Yes nitrogen filled tires $150.

I’d put money on it that he got .9 through BMWFS

I'd also like to know what the explanation is. If you're at liberty to share.

Credit score and affiliation with certain organizations. Check with your dealer for which ones apply but it was officially released by BMWFS. I have great credit and am a USAA member so they will extend .9% rate to me Once I do the paperwork I can do a pic if needed but I was told it is no secret.

Also if the car was a dealer demo I think he said that applies too but don't quote me

My point is what you posted is not a contract, and it proves nothing about what you paid rate wise and with what bank.

Only way to link a loan on BMW website is if it’s from BMWFS on there it shows my APR and what car it is... this is reminding me of that thread about the $200 eBay intercooler that is being sold by another company for almost $1000 with their name on it......

Makes you wonder y Origin M is so intent on negating that BMWFS doesn't offer .9.

Because I do not believe most of what I read, and that screen shot is not a document or a contract.

Good to know 0.9% is possible. Not sure why this is even a debate. When I make mistakes I try to just admit it, apologize and move on. It's really no biggy, but then again I'm a n00b who's life doesn't revolves around rep points or winning internet arguments.

I've no reason to doubt you got a 0.9% loan. I'm going to talk with my CA and the finance manager about how I can get that too. CA was insistent that 3.31% was all BMWFS would do on the M2.

Thanks for the info.

He just being salty that some of you guys are getting 0.9% lol. I know it's possible you just need to find the right dealer to do so.

Congrats on the great rate and term. Despite my 800+ credit score, the Southern California dealer I worked with said that BMWFS 3.31% and their loan brokers (I think Wells Fargo could do 1.74% or something) couldn’t beat my KeyPoint Credit Union 1.49% for 4 years, so I financed $58,394 OTD less my $1,000 deposit with KeyPoint CU.

FWIW, I only optioned LBB, CarPlay, Moonroof and UC+ and am doing both ED and PCD for ED MSRP with no markups or discounts.

I will try to clear up the mixed messages from BMWF. If your dealer is quoting you 3.31% they are telling you the truth. That being said through some type of loophole some are getting 0.9% on a 60 and 1.9% on a 72 mo. term. It will probably come down to your dealer wanting to or willing to take the risk (if they even know it exists) of using said loophole to offer it to you. I can personally attest to this.

As above per the sales mgr "USAA member, Dealer Demo and a couple of other guidelines qualify for 0.9%" If you get it another way then they might be manipulating a loop hole.

The loophole lies within your statement which is accurate.
