Did my breakin service today and it seems faster lol. I didn't go past 5k during breakin, and still haven't floored it, but feels faster. Plus with the cold weather, the summer tires are slipping easier. Waiting for my winter tires!

My disappointment comes from tyres

Anyone care to share their experience with the first time(s) you went 100% throttle? Is my disappointing experience unique?
Had my 1200 mile run in service (was indicated on the dash). They change the oil from run in oil and then you can push the car. Not sure about the extra 50 BHP that someone mentioned, but I know this much; if I didn't do the run in service then my car would be worth much less than it is now. and by 3,000 miles it really opened up. Grey M2 DCT reg Nov '16 now done 5,800. It flies - tyres and punctures are a constant issue (may be down to Contis) thats the disappointment for me.

The car does launch really hard with almost no wheel soon. So much so that it really surprised me. That's a great characteristic to have in a street car. And yes, all of the M2 reviews show lots of smoking tires, but that's not reality in a DD. As someone else said, the car is well sorted.

NJMP Lightning & Thunderbolt, Poconos Mega Course, and LimeRock. No heating issues. I was a beginner for my first 4 events and than became a solo driver by my 5th to 6th time at the track. I run with Hooked On Driving North East, possibly will try another group along with HOD.
