Has anyone attempted to swap out seat belts? I want to get the competition seat belts.

they are now being offered as an lci option (post November build) so you can have the P/N around January.

Also, the competition model will have them as standard, however I do not know if they complement M2's seats too much. What do you think

The blue contrast stitching we have makes adding these unappealing to me. Too busy.

If the interior were just all black I would get them to help set the interior off a bit.

Think m3/m4 owners have done this, recall seeing it somewhere around $700-1000 price range to fully swap, can do a lot of other cosmetic mods before then imo. But agree the polar blue stitching throws it off a bit in the m2.

They only cost 300 Euro as a factory option.Anyone ordering an M2 now should definitely get them IMO.I think they look fantastic with the polar blue stitching in the M2.The M leather steering wheel in the M2 already has the M color stitching.

My opinion is that BMW made the conversion for the M2 Competition which will have M seats as an option (confirmed by Artemis via VIN numbers of test mules).

They charge 300 bucks to get some extra cash from whoever orders the N55 LCI until the competition S55 rolls out.
Pathetic if you ask me.

They do not complement the blue stitching seats at all.

As stated above:

TOO BUSY

I love these, but I heard that they are a pain to install.

Car just arrived at the dealer. Next weekend i'm going to take a look, cause Mperformance parts will be installed.
If they delete the plastic covers, I'll take some pictures.

Did you get these as an option when you built the car or did you have these installed afterward at the dealership?
I just ordered my Week 51 and never got this option while at the dealership.

I had an October build. The car made it through customs and will be at the dealer by Monday. Hopefully I get a nice surprise with these seat belts as they weren't an option in the build.

I seriously doubt it but we'll see.

Anyone get these without adding them on their LCI?
