Nice list , I always admire people that collects load of nice rides with Prius as daily or occasion commuter. One of my friend who owns several nice Ferrari and Porsche 918 Spyder who rides on a Prius V as his primary commuter. I understand the reason behind it, but can you guys really transit something like 918 spyder (in your case 991 GT3) to a Prius? |

This was the most exciting car I ever owned: a Caterham Super Seven HPC with 180 bhp. I drove it for 10 years and loved it.

1970 Schwinn Sting-ray first daily drive for paper route, put 100 many 110 miles on it.
1975 Raleigh Sport 3-speed, now we’re talking, a proper English bike with a rack for the news papers. 1972 Oldsmobile 98: first car driven (before license) 1976 Oldsmobile Cutlas S Sedan: first car legally driven with license, use of - mom’s car, fun commuting to Boston with it as it was the time of the little cars, the ‘good on gas’ cars, but not this one, a bad ass V8 ….LOL no traction control, no abs, no snow tires, and come to think of it I don’t think it had FRAMES AROUND THE WINDOWS (and a four door too), found photos, NO DOOR FRAMES, how about that! And it still ran, never got a door frozen shut….dam…… 1981 Honda Accord LX: first car that I could call ‘mine,’ hand me down, sedan, 5 speed, A/C, power windows LOL excellent first car. 1988 Honda CRX DX: first new car - gift from parents - after many DIY repairs on the Accord and having never damaged any of our family cars LOL, in Med School, paying my own way, must have a car, I actually took my bicycle to some rotations in Boston from Medford between fixing the Accord, the T in Boston is USELESS unless you have a lot of time to kill commuting, how could I say no to such an offer from my parents? That CRX was ‘arrest me’ Red, stripped, no stereo, no power anything, no a/c, 5 speed, steel wheels, crank windows, but it was brand new, and MINE, no sharing with my car killing siblings, all mine, and it was a HOOT to drive, I then added a radio DIY, a cellphone (transplanted from dad’s BMW, a BMW cell phone with 10 memory VOICE Dialing WOW), added a sunroof, and it became my first engine modified car, Jackson Racing exhaust, headers, racing cam, fuel pump, etc. 95 hp increased to ? 120…. 1994 BMW 325is: first self purchase/lease 5 speed, traction control, m-tech sports suspension- got a Dinan Chip few hp more and removed the top speed limit that was a fine car….loved it….special order color ordered by some rich Greenwich Connecticut Family for their daughter who wanted a Benz instead, Smoke Metallic Grey? Unique color for a 3 series coupe, it was loaded and they wanted to move it off the lot….one oxygen sensor died at about 50 miles, but hey what can you do. 1994 Mazda 626 Lx sedan: (wife’s car, her first, she bought it before we got married, she learned to drive in that car) 1996 Subaru Legacy Wagon: (wife’s car) - ‘need more room for baby stuff’ ‘626 actually has more room’ ‘shut up’ 1997 M3 luxury: 5 speed - that car was excellent, 60k miles over 5 year lease, saw every winter, never an issue in the snow, great driver’s car, no door frames. 1999 Nissan Maxima (wife’s car) - ‘sick of can’t get out of its own way, but drives nice on highway, Subaru’ ? year 1999, 98? GMC Jimmy: winter beater - first and only time ever with a ‘winter beater’- shared with wife, second hand - that ‘truck’ was a POS so we sold it quickly, we both hated driving it, add some wind or a little snow and the thing was freaking dangerous at any speed even with snow tires, dam what a POS. My M3 was MUCH better in the snow by a long shot. 2000 Audi A6 4.2 sport (BMW was still learning how to make AWD cars, M3 lease up, kid growing, did not want an SUV, dealer wanted above sticker for a 328ix, hell not buddy) She’d never admitted it but the few times she took that car, her face was hurting from the GRIN on her face driving it. 2002 Nissan Maxima: (wife’s car) Maxima’s were always a great value, larger than the Accord and more power but less money, until the put the stupid continuously variable THING in the car, what the hell is that? 2003 Audi RS6 (Current daily drive) - was missing my M3 a bit as the A6 was not quite peppy enough for me and got the chance through an odd Audi lease program to upgrade LOL , what would I want? um….decisions, decisions, A8? no, pre turbo A8 days, same engine as the A6 4.2 but tuned to 320, naaah, R.S.6 um…maybe, available? probably not many, DAM FOUND THREE!- leased it site-unseen and had it flat bedded to me in Malone, same basic car as the A6 but with POWER, RAW POWER, LOTS OF POWER!!!!!!!!! 142,000 miles and counting. “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays this surgeon from the swift travel to the trauma room and the completion of his appointed daily rounds.” 2005 Subaru Tribeca B9: (wife’s car) ‘need bigger vehicle (that’s what they are called in Malone, not car, not truck, not suv, a Vehicle, that’s what the GD GMC was, a POS Vehicle) yes bigger vehicle with room for the second child and a puppy’ 2008 Toyota Sienna AWD Limited: (wife’s car) , ‘dam, can’t fit three kids and dog in that stinking Subaru’ We put 130k miles on that Sienna, was a great vehicle, was a minivan but was faster and quicker and nicer than the Tribeca, gave great ride on highway, all three kids in separate seats, out of reach of each other. 2008 Audi A4 cabriolet: (wife’s car - surprise, end minivan funk car) bought in 2011 (second hand 2.0 l, Quattro) ‘why don’t you take the convertible to the store’, ‘excuse’, ‘really,’ ‘well, I like being up high in the Sienna,’ ‘Oh, I see, keep it for son’s first car.’ 2013 Audi A8L 4.0 twin turbo - ‘why don’t you get a new car, that RS6 is getting old,’ ‘no, I love the RS6,’ ’too expensive to repair and its going to get unreliable,’ ‘ok I’ll look around.’ ummm always wanted an A8L, my dad has one, it’s nice, all aluminum, exclusive, AWD, much better looking than the ugly 7 series, and a NEW TURBO ENGINE, Power? POWER? ah…too expensive, three kids, college, my student loans are paid off, I’ll just go look, can’t hurt to look, maybe an ‘on the lot deal,’ or second hand one like the A4, did get a trade offer of 5k toward an RS7 in Scranton, uh, are they kidding $5. bs I can’t spend that much…., oh wait, what is that, Black is ok, Black interior, ok, no B&O, dam, no fancy lights, dam, no lane departure warning system, but massage seats! Ooo, On Sale? Audi Loyalty money, grind down 5 k more….bingo…..great price, great lease, great car, about as quick or quicker than my RS6 and those heated and cooled massage seats…a proper old man car…nice…..had I ‘ordered one’ it would have been too expensive, but this was just right, I drove it home…’what did you do?’ ‘you told me to get a new car,’ ‘where’s the RS6,’ ‘can you drive me to the dealer to pick it up tomorrow?’ 2015 Audi Q7 sport (wife’s car -current) , got 12k trade on the Sienna LOL, plus a few more down, kept the lease payment low enough. She loves it, won’t admit it, but she loves it. 2013 Honda Civic EX: (Son’s car) - certified used car LOADED! Lucky kid, still has warrantee to 100,000 miles, lucky dad! 2015 M2 Current -co-daily drive AND YOU CAN DRIVE IT IN THE SNOW AND RAIN, DAM IT@! Kid in college, RS7 too expensive with KID IN COLLEGE< DAM IT! I was able to get my RS6 back on the road after several months in the shop for an oil leak, etc, and put aside money for about a year before discovering this, what is it called, M2? Huh? Same size as my ’97 M3 and MORE POWER, RAW POWER, LOTS OF POWER…..and Navigation, not as bloated as the M3/4, much less expensive, well below my car budget, can squeeze in car payment for son’s car, trade A4 which is becoming money pit, where can I get one? NO WHERE, dam it, wait, what is this, no way, ‘ring ring’ ‘yes, sir, it’s available,’ ‘cc number,’ ‘see you Saturday’ - Who test drives a car first? Anyone here? LOL…
