Hence, unlike the other M2 M Performance Parts, you can already order those parts right now. Just look up the existing prices of those parts in your country.

Wow.

£550 for mirror caps and £350 for spoiler... OUCH!

Hopefully! We've had a ton of customers inquire for those for some time now!

If so, will that modified stock wheel still support the heated wheel function that comes with the Exec package? Because the replacement wheel does not....

Of course... It is the alcantara that limits the heating.
So if you don't replace the wheel it is still there.

Well, you don't have to order them the UK or you can use German prices for haggling with your local dealer

€460 (£358) for CF mirror caps and €380 (£295) for the CF spoiler. Of course the savings were much better before the GBP crashed in valued.

A flap in the exhaust that opens at a certain rpm or load to allow more flow/noise/etc. In essence, like a cutout, though it doesn't bypass the muffler.

Yep, but I believe the flap for the M2 is controlled via Bluetooth.

Yes, on the MPE it is. And on the series car it is electronically controlled compared to vacuum on some of the other series BMW cars.

Any advantage to this separate method?

The driver decides when to toggle between:
  • "Sport Mode" (= Normally Rumbling Around);
  • "Track Mode" (= Make Some Noise).

wasn't there another way to open this flap, by just unpluging some connector on the stock. I think there was video on this for the M235i.

Does those carbon exhaust tips fit on the standard exhaust? I would like to add them to the performance diffuser if possible.

Got some Canadian prices today. Ordered the grilles and the gills.

Exhaust - $3020.xx
CF Tips - $445.xx ea
Ti Tips - $320.xx ea

Grilles - $190.xx ea
Gills - $92.xx ea

Rear diffuser - $1570.xx
Rear spoiler - $615.xx

I couldn't order the gill quite yet as they're not showing up in the ordering page, I got the grilles for $161 each because of my BMW club discount. I knew the MPE was going to be expensive, but that's almost Akra price for Walmart product. I didn't bother looking up the little side and front winglets. The warehouse has one MPE in stock, tips are always in stock (M3/4 parts).

Thanks for the Canadian info. For exhaust tips, you need to order 2 or 4?

Man, so if we want the exhaust with CF tips, we will have to purchase 4 tips @ $400 each on top of the 3k exhaust? WTF? And all this for no gain in power?

I wonder if there is a gain in power but BMW just doesn't claim it to be. I know, wishful thinking.

4. If you want CF tips, yes you're looking at $4800 plus taxes. I almost fell over, myself and the parts girl sure had a good laugh.

Gain would be minimal, an axle back doesn't really help flow from the turbo which is the real choke point. Larger piping, straighter piping and less muffler will still barely give much. I wouldn't expect more than about 20hp out of an Akra evolution kit. Maybe 5hp from the MPE, but that still might be a stretch. It's absolute robbery for the MPE. I almost had a heart attack when I spent $361 CDN for two pieces of plastic which is my front grilles.

For the price, I'd spend it in a better place like Akra, ArmyTrix, or even Dinan. At least with these guys you'll get some sort of gains.

Exhaust doesn't mean shit unless you eliminate the cats for gains.
