666m on BSM?

Big fan of the 666m wheels, though I'm sure the maintenance could be a pain with the amount of brake dust on these cars. My wife and I recently parked next to a ZCP m3 and I showed her the wheels and she didn't... not like them...lol. After a few jokes from her end about having to buy her more diamonds (she basically wears a car on her finger as it is), and after explaining that I'd be selling my own 437m (w/ conti's...the major factor of me looking to begin with) as well to make up for some of the cost, I basically got the green light.

Have seen quite a few examples on bimmerpost of 666m on LBB, especially with the high res photos of that Chinese m2, haven't been able find some clear shots of the 666m wheels on BSM. The one time I caught a glimpse was through an m2 fb group, but upon requesting more photos, the owner had already sold the car.

Anyone have photos with 666m wheels on BSM? Or possibly other suggestions on 20" wheels (recently falling for the vorsteiner ff107s)? Any noticeable ride differences? As always, photos would be great!

I looked at the 666 as well when i thought about new wheels and after seeing them in the flash at a BMW store on a M4 Competition I did not like them anymore. Don't ask, it is a strange thing. These wheels tend to look too big for my eyes because of their design.
In the end I went for HRE FF15 in 20". I saw many pictures of them in 19" mounted on a mineral grey M2 just like mine and thought that this special wheel is case where it does look too small in 19" on a M2.
It seems weird but some designs look too big some too small on the M2...

I would love to see this as well. I've seen 666m in person on m3 competitions in bsm and it looks awesome however as mentioned some wheels one 20 inch look too big on the m2 and some look perfect. I really want the 763m wheels but the offsets being weak means I would need spacers which are illegal here in Australia. so I've been also considering the vorsteiner vff106 in carbon graphite. they only come in 19 inch so wondering if they will look too small. Wheels are so tough to judge until they are actually on your car and by then you may need to be co vincing yourself you like them as opposed to biting the hard truth that you got it wrong on this occasion. it's all too hard for me! lol. good luck OP!

Would love to see the darker 666m on BSM, I think BMW calls them just black but they're like smoked with jet black inserts.

The 763M have the exact same offsets as all the other OEM wheels, like the 666M, for the F8X. So if you think you need spacers for those, you'll need them for all.

Ended up finding out for myself, even some of the photos above didn't give me a good perspective of how 666m would look with BSM. Happened to come across a deal I couldn't ignore, glad I went through with it!

looks great! I swear photos don't do these rims justice. They look much nicer in person! Your BSM seems to look exactly how mine will with the m performance aero parts. I'm looking at vorsteiner 101s for my car. I was looking at the 666 at one stage but my absolute first choice is the 763m wheels. The problem being they would need spacers to look any good and spacers aren't legal here in Australia

Thanks! I'm actually a huge fan of the vorsteiner ff-107s, believe the 20s will fit as well without spacers. Check them out!

also agree, the wheels look completely different in person, the shade is a different tone, and wheels look a lot sharper. it's hard to explain, but every time i see them in person i'm full of intrigue. i don't know how else to explain it, must best the devil's work lol.

Has anyone read anywhere of people running the standard Eibachs pro kit and 20" 666M that are encountering any rubbing issues etc?

The Eibach drop is pretty tight on the 19s. Given the extra 1/2 inch on over all wheel size (made by up one inch on wheel size to 20", and down 1/2 inch on tyres - 30s vs stock 35s) is this too tight?

Not sure about eibach, but believe people have run these on H&R. The main feedback with stock is on extreme suspension compression the fender will cut into the 265 tires in the front. I'm sure the springs help a bit, but I'm not going to be taking those risks and will be getting a fender roll in the front come spring. I'm running a set of 513m right now as well and with a 255 up front should be ok, but I'll be swapping these back and forth.

OEM, although since then I have gone with 513m and back to 437m. 666m wheels look great but from some angles they definitely look too big for the m2. However, the main setback is how harsh the ride becomes on 20" wheels, even with stock suspension.

Not sure about 20s on this car.. and the lack of concavity on these 666m's just don't work.
