New 18" wheels - shall they rub the brakes ?
Finally received my 18" wheels and positioned them on the car. It is very narrow but does not rub (on parking). Do you think that there is a risk that it rubs the brakes once hot on track ?
Those of you who drive in 18", could you please send me a picture of the space between calliper and rim ? Thanks for your kind feedback! |

As long as nothing is hitting and it spins freely you should be OK. Looks like there are at least a few mm, right?

Because the PowerStop Z3 pads Ive installed look exactly like OEM Brembo pads, except the vibration damping ears are larger, and IM concerned when I purchase whatever 18" square winter setup I decide to use, there might be a rubbing issue. Hate to go to a 19" setup, as Im sure there are some 18" wheels which have the 'right' shape to avoid hitting those pad ears.. I just dont know how to find them.. All i need to find is one person with these pads and an 18" winter setup that tells me, 'nope, good to go' with xyz wheels. Somebody??
