Exclamation IND | Introducing Carbon Aero by Sterckenn

Many BMW fans consider the M2 to be BMW’s best work of this decade. The excellent mechanical features of the M4 were all transplanted to the smaller, lighter M2. BMW’s goal of offering the M2 for a lower price point than the M4 was a double edged sword. On the one hand, the car’s stripped down nature when compared to the M4 represents a return to the classic M car: simple, pure, and meant for driving enjoyment first and foremost.

With all this in mind, Sterckenn took to designing pieces that would purposefully accent the front bumper of the M2 while being able to use existing M-Performance accessories. Being a company driven by passion for BMW, Sterckenn specializes in manufacturing high-end carbon fiber parts for BMW vehicles. All their components are designed, engineered, and produced in Europe.

Starting with the need for a front lip / splitter, Sterckenn 3D scanned the M2 front valence in order to achieve superior fitment and quality with their design. Once the dimensions were available, the front splitter was carefully modeled in CAD to achieve a result that runs in parallel with Sterckenn's design language. The splitter gives a sophisticated design while maintaining standard ground clearance.

Using the same 3D scans of the front bumper surface, Sterckenn pursued designing a carbon fiber insert that did not interrupt any of the characteristic bumper lines unique to the M2, and would complement the front lip. The final result is a cover that adds a more aggressive appearance to the front fascia of the M2, and ensures tight fitment against the bumper.

And the award for smalest front lip goes to...
Looks pretty good though and would look fine combined with the winglets from BMW.

I would like to see how the fangs look in a mineral grey or black M2. I don't think it looks at place with LBB.

Like this splitter more than others I've seen as well. Available to purchase online? Does it need extra drilling to install?

I like It, but not a big fan of the fangs....leave it the way it is.....Prolly cheaper than the rest of the lips so they had to make some extra stuffto keep price up.

Better than I thought!
Saw some prices from resellers in Great Britain and the lip was 600 GBP and the fangs 400 GBP, both incl 20 % VAT.

Would love to see the fang inserts on a white M2. Wish the price was about $200 cheaper for those, seems a little unreasonable to me.

Wasted no time. Sterckenn lip arrived today AND installed today! I feel it complements the M Performance front winglets well.

It's either this lip with winglets or the lightweight. Those two are the only subtle ones on the market.

Still waiting to see more pictures.
