Forge intercooler just arrived
New forge intercooler just arrived and the quality is amazing. Can't wait to get it fitted and do some logging.
It's Bar and Plate and will not foul the radiator. |

Here are the dimensions. The only one not in the photo is the total length which was 665mm. Last image is measured centre to centre of intake and outlet.

Same size width and depth of the 5" sport intercoolers on the market but has less length because it is not stepped core

This intercooler is meant for cars lightly modded (stage 1 tune), anything above that and it will suffer. Pro of bar and plate: does a better job at keeping IAT low Cons: heavy , does not recover as fast as tube and fin If you track the car often, tube and fin is the way to go If this is a street use car, bar and plate is better choice since it costs less

I'm running around 400 bhp 430ft/lbs torque, was getting crazy heat issues on the dyno (I know it's not the same in real world driving) with the stock intercooler, 80 deg C was the highest on 3rd pull. I've also got the pure turbo inlet pipe and fabspeed 200cell dp, both waiting to be installed at the end of this month and after stock run on dyno. Looking forward to getting this intercooler on. |

Forge Motorsport built one of the best direct bolt-on FMIC for the 1M and I am sure this one will fit and perform just as well.

Yeah, the one I had on my 1m was top notch, I also had a forge stepped intercooler on my mini gp2 and found almost no lag and struggled to get the Temps up when on the track
