They look ok but something is off, probably the pattern??? Honeycomb pattern should flow better and would be awesome if you could make large and small honeycomb pattern prototypes

Bigger size would be like the picture below and more like the front bumper mesh

Amazing work! I agree on the larger honeycomb.

How do you prototype these?

I believe the bigger honeycomb pattern is better, but what makes it look off is the lack of it being a real vent and having plastic behind the pattern, which is the only way it can be done.

Bingo! The bigger size mesh is the winner! Mimics the front mesh much better.

Yes! These are awesome! Call me crazy but at this point the prefer the horizontal slat style. I'm not so sure the larger honeycomb will look right, seem too shallow. But anyway, count me in for one of the styles!!!!

Are these actual install photographs, or are they photoshops of pictures of your prototypes overlaid on top of pictures of a car? They look a bit like edited photos.

Kudos, very nice work. If I may make a suggestion... In the off axis photos it looks like you have another 1/8th of an inch or so to make the piece deeper. Is there room? or is that just the photo?

Installed pictures, I still have them on my car as we speak

The actual production ones will look much better and because this part is small, it's really hard to capture the car and the detail on them together.

Believe me, they look pretty cool in person, and much better than the reflectors.

Agreed, maybe there is some opportunity for increasing the homeycomb step thickness?

Right now I like the slated version more, but I think with the larger honeycombs, it will look pretty cool as well.

There's only so much room that I can go down because the clips are designed on the back, but I will try with the 2nd honeycomb prototype.

Need to keep the honeycomb edges to about 1.5mm thick

The slat style is growing on me since it looks more like a real vent. Clever design to hide the fact that it's a solid part with the downward vent!
