Picking up my 2018 M2!
Hey everyone,
I just picked up my 2018 M2 last week! Man, this car is incredible. For those questioning whether or not to get the M performance exhaust, I highly recommend it. The sound is insane. I put together this video and I'd really appreciate it if you guys could check it out! I'll be posting a lot more videos of the car in the future as well so feel free to subscribe if you're interested in seeing those I hope everyone is enjoying the car as much as I am! |

Congrats ! Happy motoring. Of course you know that your car is 0.01mph faster with black kidneys, don't ya.
Do yourself a favor and record a cold start with the MPE valves all-open. And you'll notice the difference in 'burble loudness' when you toggle between the 'DSC' (traction) and 'SPORT' buttons when releasing the throttle when cruising (toggling: just one touch between the buttons right next to each other). Question: does your car feature 'the red pimple' to activate the MPE ? For the 2017 version of the M2 MPE, BMW added a red button in the boot:

As someone already mentioned, no I don't have the red button in the trunk. I just have the bluetooth remote. |

Typical Euro-crap. My French dealer said that he automatically re-sites the button to the front of the car whenever the M-performance exhaust is ordered.

Agree the MPE makes a great car even better. While in ED I had the regular exhaust so I got to experience both and MPE makes the car soo much better. I pretty much drive it with the valves open all the times.

Thanks so much! Yeah I'm a big fitness enthusiast haha. I received my allocation on June 19th and got the car on the 12th of this month so a little under 4 months.

Cool video bro. I'm not really an exhaust guy but that sounds killer, looks good too! Santa Monica is so damn crowded now you're going to find urself trying to escape with that car.
