Some how someone noticed this on the M2, but yet not any other BMW. Every BMW I've sat in since has had this trait, I've tested with my arms so not an exact science. All of them angled to the left, all the same amount, 2 series included.

You can't even notice it. I've had my car almost a year now and I wouldn't have any idea the seat was a few degrees off had I not seen it mentioned on the forum a billion times. It's just a part of the F87 chassis and will remain that way because of the money and time it would take to redesign it. They're not gonna change it. End of story.
I did tell the story about what I felt and I actually did notice....

Its not "fixed" in the LCI....still there just like the regular 2 series. If its that noticeable to you, maybe refuse delivery and get a different car?

No just the 2 series, it?s like that in every car and SUV except the 7 series. And it?s not just a BMW thing either.

Once they introduced the front small overlap test, everyone had to adjust because they were all failing due to crushed dummy legs.

If the seat is that much of a bother, I?m sure some other happy want-to-be owner will take that allocation off his hands.

Wooooohhh hold your horses guys.
I never said that this "crooked seat" bothers me so much that I want to refuse the order that I made...
I was just hoping that they have fixed it for MY18 LCI and was not sure if they did.
I still love the car and won't be a too much bother (I hope in long term as well) and will keep my car still even if they are still slightly crooked..

Thanks for your help guys.

Literally haven't noticed or even thought of this since the "crooked seat discussion drama" of 2016.

Correct, my 3 series is the same. It's not enough to really notice unless you go looking for it. Most other cars I've driven actually have their steering wheels way more off-center relative to the seats, my F30 is one of the better cars I've been in (and I drive several different cars a day at work).

Most of the recent Benzes, for example, seem to have the steering wheel several feet off to the right.

Wtf? Anyone else notice this comment or able to verify? Havent seen any mention of it in other reviews so far.

Urgh, just test drove an M2 and couldn’t get over this. I pulled my order for the M2C. Once I knew the seat and steering wheel were misaligned, I couldn’t get it out of my mind!
It would drive me nuts if I owned this car.

So my 2015 C63 AMG does NOT have a crooked seat like the M2. And it has knee airbags, and obviously passed 2015 global crash standards.

I spent two weeks & 1,600 miles during ED in my M2, I loved the car and I didn't notice this at all.

I think I am going to do my best not to notice this when it finally makes it here.

It’s worth it to buy an M4 just for the seat alignment!! The M2C was to be my first bmw since the E46. I’m stunned.

Don't ever try and buy a BMW then, they're all like this.

I guess it's time to change your avatar/signature since apparently you're no longer "driving" a 2019 M2C that you weren't driving yet anyway!

You never noticed that the steering wheel was offset in the E46?

Just checked, my LCI seat is perfectly straight and no misalignment of the steering wheel either.
They might have fixed it for the LCI. Chances are the comp. might be OK.

It's like a 2 degree off-center. Unless you're severely OCD, you won't notice. All M2s have the "crooked" seat syndrome. To cancel an order over it baffles me.
