The sport tuner is worth every penny from my POV. The attached dyno graph shows stock vs sport tuner only. As for long term reliability, I agree with the above posters. I'd be hesitant to use it permanently, at least without an upgraded IC.
Wow! That?s nice. Did you took that screenshot ?

Yeah it's really good. Got nearly 10k miles on mine so far and no plan to change. With DP, I think this is max street power for me.

Yes. That is a Dynapack dyno where the wheels are removed. They tend to read higher than Dynojets. Regardless, the area under the curve is substantial....basically 25 whp increase up to 5500. And that crazy low end TQ increase.

I would also upgrade your IC, especially since you're in TX.

I agree this product is great, However I did a pull from third to fourth gear and I was misfiring at the top of fourth gear in race mode. In sport plus mode I did not experience it. I use 93 octane fuel.

So far having issues with the app, the gauge doesn?t reflect any setting

App is not the best but I spoke with a Dinan rep and they are working on updating the app.

The gauge needs to be reset when the car is off or the readings will be off.

Check the instructions on the Dinan page it explains a bit more.

I did, not very pleased so far ... I know it?s only 300 but still the quality it?s not there, i don?t know why they released something that?s it?s not finish or polished.

I?m very surprised about Dinan doing this

About the app?

The app is just to switch it between modes. I can care less about the gauge on the app.

All I care about is the power increase. They could have released this with a switch right on top of the box and I would have still gladly paid $300 for it.

The thing is that you can?t never know if you have 2 or 3 or 4 psi?s there?s no way of knowing without a confirmation of a change of a setup..

Let me ask you have you use it ?

Yes, I have used many times to switch between modes.

The portion of switching from modes works with no issues. Although many people set once and forget.

The gauge is the part that doesn't work very well.

Depending the mode is the amount of psi, so pick how many psi you want and pick the mode. Once you do this is always remembers the setting so you dont have to set this every time you turn on the car.

How would this fair on a daily driver? I'm looking for some cheap and simple power. I do mostly highway driving. Only mods are FabSpeed sport cat and K&N drop in filter.

I'd argue it's exactly what it's for. It's dubious for track use. for DD it's great. If you can stretch your M2s legs on the daily and it gets hot just get the Dinan or AA fmic

Add it and you'll break the 400 bhp barrier.

I understand but it should be a better way to lock and make sure it?s active, maybe a pop up confirmation that is setup and then forget about it.

I've read plenty about people saying the M2 falls in it's face in the upper RPM range. Wouldn't adding Dinan's upgraded fuel pump handle this issue? Sounds like a FMIC, Dinan sport tuner, and Dinan fuel pump is all you would really need. Thoughts?

FMIC helps for consistent power on track. HPFP is the the issue with fueling more power, not the LPFP.

Altho, the Dinan LPFP help resolve some low fuel level issues I was having on track. That’s a different problem tho.

Ahhh gotcha, didn't catch the lpfp part.

Anyone have issues running the sport tuner on crappy california fuel?

Question for anyone who has used this or currently uses it... do you need to set it to a certain setting every time you turn your car on again or does it save the same setting from when you turned you car off?

I heard members saying that when you first install it, it is automatically set to sport +, so curious if that's always the setting when you start your car.

It remembers the previous/current setting.

Fitted mine today and super impressed so far. It pulls hard

Lag is reduced to.....with the current set up I wouldn’t want more power. It wheelspins in 3rd. The car feels on the edge of being too quick

Great piece of kit
