I have progressive lens. LOL. I have three pairs and they are not cheap. I did not splurge on a pair of prescription sunglasses, had to buy glasses for my three kids and wife too. LOL.

The cheap clips ons are perfect!

Got it, tried the progressives but they drove me nuts. You need to wear them all the time which I don't. Clip on's are good, they work. Family first anyway....

The first time I got the progressives the lower power was just plus 1. So when I got my next glasses I did without since I thought I did not need the 'bifocal.' It was then that I found out just how great the progressives are! I did not quite know how they worked, but they actually give you a continuously varying focal length. You train yourself to tip your head to maximize focus. Now my lower add back is Plus 2 with my far correction at Minus 6 D'ooh.

I wasn't patient enough training myself with them, the whole moving your head thing instead of just your eyes screwed with me. No doubt they have a benefit, just need to dedicate the time, as you did.

Just some friendly chit chat while waiting for others to pipe in.

Since you took the time to comment, please tell us, where do you put your sunglasses?

LOL. Typically I wear them and then leave them on the seat or take them with me.

Thanks man, he noted it was $25....for that I was expecting some revolutionary device that not only holds your glasses, but hands them to you when the sun angle reaches it apex.

For $9 it is somewhat reasonable, but just make a cardboard template and transfer that to a piece of rubber and your golden. Use the saved money towards a new GT4.

Second, you guys are f....ing hilarious!!! ..I mean the Caddyshack reference was perfect!!

Third, I was 3,000 miles from my car on a family holiday...so it took some time; jeez....give a guy a break, eh?

Fourth, I knew once I mentioned the part you would figure it out....cause you guys are soooooooooo smart; funny and smart!!!

Anyhow, here are the damn pictures, now no f...ing complaints about photo quality, dirt in my car or on my glasses....I am just not that anal, OK?...neurotic, maybe...

The owner's manual, page 166 shows there's driver side compartment but my M2 does not have it. I spent 30 minutes looking for it but could not find one. Maybe it's just for certain regions.

They install a useful compartment in place of the active driving assist on/off controls. Same on 3-series.
