I dont think this is a west coast thing. The M2 has been in passports inventory under the 2 series tab with no price listed. They put up pics yesterday or the day before and still no price. I'm thinking they're seeing what the demand is like or already have a market adjustment.

and yea, i surf bmw dealer websites for fun.

I know of two people on the list at Passport, shouldn't this car be offered to those on the list first?

Beats me. Personally, I'd opt for the 6mt and would pass on the DCT. BTW - I love the contrasting stitching on this one.

Hmm, yeah you would think it would. Maybe folks on waiting list didn't want all the extra carbon fiber pieces they threw on there to jack the price up? Hate it when they do that.

Could also be that they offered to those on the list at mark-up and they passed. We've seen that happen to a few forum members

I called in earlier yesterday to get a full list of options and the MSRP. The SA basically told me it's up for bids at this point.

Can't comment on that. I don't even know if there's even a mark up at this point.

I've bought a few cars from Passport. Including my 16 F83. Dave Comfort, the GSM has always been good and fair to work with. Have your friend contact him.

I don't think the M2 is going to be nearly as rare as the 1M. I would assume the price would be close to sticker, but I've not been watching the market on these.

I went to take a look at the car. theres no market adjustment, but the accessories take the price up to 64xxx. It's the DC market, so theres definitely people with more money than sense and it might move.

The car looks amazing.

So, I got lucky and purchased this specific car for MSRP + USAA discount.
GM made a decision last night to finally sell it.

Some initial pics, hope to get more soon.

Car came with all these M Performance CF bits, illuminated door sills, Alcantara trims, etc..

I wonder how many M2s are out there with those options? Not sure if rare..

Loving it so far!

I believe my order I confirmed yesterday is pretty similar to yours but no worries I'm in Columbus oh.

exterior seems to be the same options(all grills, mirror caps, winglets, diffuser) can't tell if u have spoiler or not but it will be on mine. I skipped on the additional interior trims as I couldn't really tell what was added for the extra $1k...? Enjoy! Unfortunately mine will not deliver until late November so won't have much time to drive before parking due to the weather.
