Tire weights removal
Can somebody recommend a method for removing those balancing weights sticked to the wheels? It seems very easy to damage the surface.

Use a heat gun to warm up the adhesive. Then gently pry with a trim tool. Residue can then be removed with goo gone, bug/tar remover, or mother's r3

Thanks for the suggestion. Can heat damage the wheel? it's the stock 437M
(I'm switching to a different tire -- Conti sucks -- and with the occasion cleaning and treating with Gtechniq C5) |

No heat won’t damage it (not from a heat guy or a hair dryer, not even from a blow torch. The tire guy will take it out for you. The wheel gets hit with road debris all the time. It’ll be fine.
