I have found these guys to be great. They have takeoffs and can normally get you what you want.

Minimal rubbing on the front in extreme cornering (i.e. compressions). I can live with that, its just the plastics.

The back is fully lowered and at the front i still have 5mm left.

The new Continental ExtremeContact Sports are available for this wheel size combo (unlike the 4S) and I have them on my F80. I love these tires, nice upgrade over the MPSS for basically the same performance as the 4S, and at a lower price point as well.

285 in the rear should be fine, you'll probably encounter some rubbing on 265 in the front

No, run 513m on stock suspension with the stock 255/275 sizes and no problems

The 18/40 makes the car feeling very different from 19/35, much less response from track, personally I could not handle the car very well, made one 360 out of the sudden. Might be the tyres as well. On that day, I changed back to original wheels with Michelin PSS and made instantly 2 seconds faster laps.

I will try to find semi slicks in 35 for the 513 wheels and try again.
2 second seconds slower on the track? Peter or anyone else, can you please elaborate? If anything the lighter weight and 255/275 combo should help dynamics, no? I thought the 18” 513m would make the M2 perform better, not worse.

It was my driving skill..... was not used to the 18'', which make car feel very different and the tyres.

Meanwhile I go with semi slicks and with slicks on 513, and I go faster than with 19''

I can confirm the car handles different with beefier tyres. Had to tweak my mperf coilvers to get the feedback back. On factory settings the back got lose because of the much better front grip and the resulting body roll. Stiffer setting helped a lot

Thanks Lukeni and Peter. Very insightful that the suspension settings would have to be adjusted as the M2 was always meant to have 437m instead of M3 which was offered both 513m and 437m.
