You essentially use the 6 pot caliper from the CCB's, and use a slightly modified steel rotor from an m5 for your front brakes. You put regular pads in them. Then you put your stock front brakes on the back wheels. Now you have bmw 6 and 4 pot steel disc's on your M2. They look like CCB's from bmw but they're steel. No horrible noise and it looks cool as hell. Just have to repaint the calipers to match each other.

Gotta be careful with this setup, friend used this setup on his car with BBS RID wheels and small rocks would get stuck between the caliper and the wheel and scratch up the inner side...

that already happens with my stock wheels and brakes lol. pebbles fly in there all the time and scratch stuff up. not really serious. just cosmetic. already have the most up to date brake dust shields. happens anyway.

For those that are interested in the M3/M4 side mirrors, please let me know your thoughts/comments; maybe I can make it happen.

Yeah, you need like 20" wheels to go with this setup I think.

I saw this car on instagram a few weeks ago as well. I'm based in Guangzhou and just picked up my M2 last week. It is the only one I have seen on the road since the M2 has been released, so would be cool to see another one.

Love it!
I am considering the 666 wheels for my future M2, but aren't they only available in 20" size? The M2 comes with 19" wheels, so would the 20" cause any fitment issues for performance driving?

Have not looked into it heavily to see if the M2 can run the 666Ms, but I know there are a few memebers here running them. It seems as though formula80 has them on his M2 and just runs 12mm spacers front and rear. His car is lowered as well so there should be some clearance for them.

http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...highlight=666M

The only difference between the 19s and 20s, is the ride will be a little rougher. The are bigger wheels and tires should also give a slightly higher performance limit.

The 20's zcp run pretty good on stock suspension I didn't have a problem with fitment at all and handling is a lot better, tighter and more responsive. Ride is tougher in terms of road noise but that's all. I also switched to kw-has adjustable springs, it's indeed a good option but I like a stiffer ride and less bumpy which was already a good improvement but still not quite what I'm looking for. I'm going bc racing coil overs this coming month!

Lovely set up! Nicely done... Problem I have is going harder and bigger wheels. The roads here where I live are horrendous, so it would be too bumpy and hard, but I love the looks.

Best option is that the CS has those wheels and the adaptive suspension. Problem solved...

Yes definitely I agree with you on regular spring sis definetly bumpy, and that's why I'm looking into coil overs!

Not sure if he speaks english. Says he's from Guangzhou, Guangdong so i'm assuming he'll know Mandarin.

His user name is chengyi001 but he isn't responding to any PM's or post comments.

He's made a few posts on here but never responded to anyone or made any comments

http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1327932

If any of you guys could help establish contact with this guy I'm sure a few of us would benefit from finding out how to get those custom mirrors/brackets.
You guys know Guangzhou is where all the cheap Chinese CF comes from......
Also anybody know is IG name?
