Not sure about factory option, but you can do aftermarket with:
http://www.tylt.com/vu-car-wireless-charger/ At the end of the day, it's just a lead from a power source and a bracket. As long as they haven't changed the mounting location to specifically implement a wireless charging bracket. You'll be able to retrofit. Then again, that would imply that the factory implementation is sort of bolt-on itself. If it is done elegantly, you may end up buying interior dash bits, etc to accommodate. Or you could just own a 20 year old car like me with a DIN chassis to install a nice $130 bluetooth head unit and enough interesting spots to mount your aftermarket phone bracket Marc |

I don't understand how the Canadian offering of the MY17 car gives the option of the MPE and the sunroof, yet the US version does not. I don't see how that's possible. Then again, I don't see executive package anywhere in the Canadian options.
Very confused. |

I think they they see the US market to be the group that most likely goes on the track and may need the extra headroom.

The executive package is not an option because it's standard equipment on Canadian models.

We just have the choice on the MPE to be a factory order for $3500, other than a dealer install for $4900 plus installation and taxes

My bad, I read on this forum that's what they were charging. Totally misinformed.

They are not the only ones. I was promised the first car, but now they want that one at $20k over. I don't want to say who it is, but if I don't get the second one at MSRP S will HTF.

Nothing is official yet and there has been no confirmation, so this could still be an error.
It seems that the MY17 cars will get the standard M3/4 wheels, with 10mm wider tires. It also looks like they will get Conti ContactSport rather than the Michelin PSS's. IMO, I wouldn't call it an upgrade and glad I'm getting a MY16; the PSS's are far superior to the Contis and the 10mm width difference is negligible in all but the highest performance scenarios. And even in those cases, the PSS will compensate by being a better tire. |

MY 2016 & MY 2017 - 19x9.0 front / 19x10.0 rear
MY 2016 - 245/35 front / 265/35 rear MY 2017 - 255/35 front / 275/35 rear (source: MY 2017 US ordering guide) A quick check on Tire Rack shows the MY 2017 size a few bucks cheaper and the same as the M3 standard sizes. Last edited by omasou; 06-16-2016 at 07:50 AM.. |
