What is your production week? Your car is already done production correct? All May allocations have as of today.

That ends up being 8-10 weeks for delivery after EOP, which is just nuts! Typically 6-8 unless something funky is going on with delivery to Florida...
Week 23. Yes, hurricane season began for us lol

Questions for you guys who recently attained an allocation. My dealer said they would have an allocation with delivery late summer. As of today I have no allocation but a deposit months ago. Was told for certain I'd have a late summer delivery. Not to sure how realistic that is anymore. Todsy I was told this
"We are working with our rep to get priority because in our market we are beating our targets"
what do you guys think??

I don't think anyone got an allocation recently. Your dealer probably said that so you will wait a few more days, until June 10, when the next batch of allocations are supposed to be released.

Ok got it. I've just been really paranoid about my allocation being given to someone willing to pay over MSRP.

My CA just got back from a BMW shindig for top salesmen down in California. Regional managers and "their bosses" were present as well. They drove the M2, M235i and M3/4s in autocross, drags and short course. My guy said all the higher-ups present were extremely tight-lipped about the when and how many of allocations. They either did not know, or did not tell. Either way, he was disappointed, as he had hoped that the trip would have given him some active intelligence. He said he now gets "about 5 calls per day from all over the country" from people looking for an M2. Even allowing for typical dealer hyperbole, that's impressive.

He could not even confirm or deny the June 10 allocation stuff we've been hearing, because nobody there who should have been in a position to know would do that.

So...basically an air samich, as usual. Maybe June 10 will shed some more light.

There are a lot of us holding our breath until next Friday. I know I'll be contacting my dealer on Friday afternoon or as soon as I hear from someone through this thread that knows anything about those allocations.

As soon as anyone knows anything about those allocations, let the rest of us know.

[QUOTE=andrettifan;20042522]In various postings recently there have been mentions of allocations for July / August / September that will be given to (US) dealers either today or, more likely, next Friday the 10th. As soon as anyone knows something definite about those allocations, please post that information here for those of us starving to learn if there is any possibility we will get our cars by early fall.

Has anyone heard anything today about the rumored July / August / September allocations that dealers were supposed to get today?????

Good question. Aren't there any dealer reps that read this forum? Do any of you guys know ANYTHING? A couple of weeks ago there were postings from people that seemed certain dealers would get allocation information today (June 10).

That's just it. I'm (we're) tired of all the guessing. Someone somewhere knows something.

PS. Like your "Drives: future M2". Considered changing mine to that but I'm getting close to changing it to "ordered M2 but gave up and bought a used M3 instead!"

My sales manager told me yesterday that he would get no word of future allocations until August.

I was thinking of giving up my allocation slot for the next one down the line, and my sa said "Are you sure, next allocation won't be till September"

per CADK's thread MY2016 threat, the memo from BMW stated that production would start up again in July so we should still hear something this month.

My local dealer has always told me they get their allocations on the second Monday of the month. No idea if that varies from dealer to dealer, etc. They are currently expecting to see allocations for the next 3 months on Monday June 13, 2016. They can't guarantee it, since they are really at the mercy of BMW corporate, but this is what they have been led to believe.
