ED MSRP...

No incentives obviously
40% discount on my first OEM part thru the dealer

I hate paying MSRP on anything, but the ED discount at least makes me feel like I am not...

Called my CA today after I saw the M3/4 financing dropped to 0.9%. I was excited and then he told me every car in the BMW lineup was 0.9% financing except the i8, M4 GTS, and M2...Whommp Whommp. I understand that the M2 is the new hotness, but man I wish it was at least 1.99%

BMW is always known for hiking up the rates when the new models (especially the high in demand ones) first come out. I expected the same with M2s and sure enough thats what happened

It's still a great deal in my books. North of the border we get:
- 4.9% to 5.9% on new models
- higher freight + PDI (CAD$2.2k extra on top of final price)
- lower residual values (5%-10% lower, varies by model)
- 13% tax on the lease (depreciation+all fees)

Remember that the 2.99 is buy rate. The dealership is not going to just give that up.

Yep, totally understand that, just disappointing considering the awesome rates for all the other cars in the lineup. By all means 2.99% isn't bad, but I can probably find better deals outside of BMWFS.

Can you outline the amortization schedule for the select program.

Let's assume purchase price of $54,495.

Then, with no money down over 5 years, you pay 63% of the purchase with the balloon at the end of 5yrs?

You would need to know the msrp to calculate the balloon. Balloon is based off msrp

This is definitely a car to buy, not lease. 52/51/49% looks like AMG or Audi residuals.
