I was right all along!!!!!!! This is a repeat of the 1M! This is why the MSRP is so close to M235i numbers....the lease is a terrible proposition

I would buy the M2 if it came in Valencia Orange or Sakhir Orange. Possibly even get a discount since paying cash. That's an absolute horrible lease term.

when the m4 first came out it was 1200+ to lease it a month with min drive off. 36 months, 10k a year.

don't buy the cars when they first come out.

Sorry for those that got on the list to lease. Waste of money at $1000 per month. You have to finance this car to really get your money's worth.

Maybe a $90,000 loaded one. Residual was almost 10% higher for a 36/10 when they came out.

I am assuming the BMW knows this will be a track rat car and they don't want a bunch of M2's beat on the track or driven had by younger folk and turning it in. Yes the M3/M4 does track duty and beat on but the M2 has a greater potential

Same shit they did for the 1M. It was cheaper to lease an M3 when the 1M was out...

So glad I didn't wait any longer for this car and swallowed the bullet on an M235i - best move ever on my end...

Rough Estimate: This is easily a $800 lease payment with first month down.
I Predicted this month's ago.

Yes. BMW would prefer that an enthusiast that wants to OWN the car buy it as opposed to someone that just wants to rent it for a toy for awhile.

No. The same horrible numbers came out in 2011 for the 1M so... Take the hint and BUY an M2 or F&@k off and buy an M3/M4.

this is every high demand car when it first comes out.

bmw doesn't care if you lease or buy, they care about how much they can make.

nothing wrong with that, we're not communists.

WrongO bongito.

1M had horrible lease figures
M2 has horrible lease figures.
M4 GTS cannot be leased at all

BMW will be HAPPY to lease you an M3/M4 or an M235 for probably a much better deal than an M2 because those are their mass market vehicles.

1M, M2, M4 GTS are cars that are designed for track use and are speciality niche cars. You don't cheapen these cars by making them lease deals like a Honda Civic or Acura ILX

bmw is limiting production for the m2?

Where did you hear that?

1M was a limited run. m4 gts is a limited run. m2 m3 m4 m5 m6 are not.

you can't even get the m2 with ceramic brakes for god's sake...

If that's the case then why are several countries sold out for 2016?

Why is the UK Antucipating just 400 -450 a year which is the same figure as they received for the 1M. ?

If the M2 will be unlimited why are dealers selling through their HEA Cars?

Check the definition of UNLIMITED again and check yourself before you wreck yourself.
