I asked and was also told the same thing.

On a separate note, how many of you are dropping your vehicle off in Nice?

I'm also wondering where there's a place we can have the vehicle washed prior to drop off.

Car needs to be washed before shipping it back to Canada.

As mentioned Euro Delivery cars have to be washed before dropping off. Remember they do have to prep them again as if they were being shipped as normal, they get the same shipping film, blocks in the suspension, etc as non-euro-delivery cars.

They get none of that treatment. They get shipped as-is.

It's a no go. Apparently they did it before, but it was a logistical nightmare at the Welt (and the orders would've needed to happen sooner).

Guess no steering wheel for me!

It took me about 15 mins to get it at the CAA, so no worries about getting it. Just get it!

I received the package a couple of weeks back, but I still need to head back to the dealership in a week or two to finalize some paperwork, so not sure if that's the reason for the delay. Might be best to reach out to BMW Canada.

Arriving Monday. Booked a tour for Tues morning, trip 2. Also got the international license today at CAA, about $40, less if you bring in a passport photo. Took about 10 min including the picture

I think we may be on the same factory tour, at 11:45. We arrive at 10:15, so hopefully will make it to the tour on time.

Looks like we're on the same your. We're signed up for the 11:15am Welt Tour and then the 11:45am Facotry Tour (they said it's next door and we should be fine).

Got my travel bag today. Who all is using theirs for the trip? I wasn't sure at first, but now that I have it, it seems like a pretty good bag. Probably the perfect size for a quick 10 day trip.
