I'm not saying buying a sports car is the good financial advice, but ppl putting huge somes of money down when they could be investing it seems stupid.
Putting anything towards a cap cost reduction is just dumb for a variety of reasons, #1 being if you total your car that $ is gone forever. My only point was that unless you get all of the numbers involved in a lease it's impossible to judge them. All the ads you see have the great payment then you read the fine print and its some crazy amount down, really low miles etc.

I doubt they will get much better in 2016. Maybe towards the end of the year if anything.

Just thought I'd share this lease info I received today (Canada):

39 months 20,000 km (12k miles) per year (or 65000km (40k miles) total) at 59% residual @ 5.9%.

So..... the best way to do this is to find someone doing a lease take-over with a few months left in 2 and half years right?

Take advantage of the low residuals without having to pay the high lease rates.....
