Sounds like it'll be one of those wait and see. for what it's worth, I just spoke with my dealer. They just received an M2 for the customer that was in line before me (yay I get to finally see one in person!) and he was told that it's a one for one allocation, meaning you get an additional allocation once the M2 you have in stock gets delivered.

At this point, who knows.

The dealer I ordered from got 2 M2's so far and I'm number 5 on the list. They did not get a June allocation but I'm fine with waiting for Apple CarPlay.

61 for 1 month x 12 is only 732. Don't seem high to me. Almost exactly how many 1Ms produce in that one year.

Wouldn't 61 for 1 month be on par or if anything slightly lower than historical production. See http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...3&postcount=20 (note I know these are for NA numbers). Quick math says that 61 would equal 1 car for every 5 or so dealers in the US. That said, any allocations are better than none!

Up to 143 now and the number keeps going up. Seeing production for both July and August. I'm sure September will be out too.

We're still showing 0 and we're getting 17 for the year, so this is going to be a big allocation!

Keep us updated with any info you may have. Would be great to see a breakdown of allocations for each of the three months.

I was in to meet with my dealer this morning and at that time he didn’t mention anything about these 61 (now 182?) new allocations just mentioned this afternoon in this thread. I just emailed him to see if he got one.

I had originally intended to tell him at this meeting that I was close to canceling my order and buying a used M3. On the weekend, my wife told me that if I cancel the order she’ll divorce me and use my insanity as her grounds for divorce! She reminded me of all my recounts to her over the past five months of the reviews the M2 had received and how desperately I want this car. She also reminded me that I am number 1 on my dealer’s order list / bank, so when they do get an allocation (sooner or later), my car will be it. So instead of giving the dealer a pathetic threat to buy a used M3, my meeting with the dealer turned into my begging and pleading with him to do whatever he could (I know there’s nothing any dealer can do to accelerate their allocations for an M2) and talk to anyone he knew at BMW to get information about when he (the dealer) would get an allocation for my order. BTW, my sales rep at the dealer is actually the new car sales manager, and I’ve known him for years, so I know he’s being straight with me.

In one of postings earlier in this particular thread I claimed it was time for me to shit or get off the pot. I guess I’m staying on the pot. I sure hope one of those 182 allocations is for my car.

Good news - it is over 200 now..
Bad news - your state will not be getting any allocations until 2018.

I just about threw a brick at my laptop when I read that. 200 allocations... where are you getting this information? This really is exciting. I hope lots of forum members are among those getting some of these new allocations, BuT MINE FIRST!!!
