Agree with WeatherTech. Rubber flats are nice and might look nice. If you have any kind of bad weather, or in locale with slush then WTech holds the water and mess. Rubber mats, even the ribbed kind leak out sides and can ruin carpet. If you are in nice weather place, then no problem....but the Techs do the job during bad weather months.

Stay away from the MPF mats. The only time they look clean is coming out of the box.

I know someone with the MPF floor mats and they show dirt fast so not interested in those.

The Weather Tech are nice but bulky for storage in the summer.

I just want simple rubber mats that have the same fitment as the stock. 2-Series don't have any either that I could tell.

I bought the standard 2 series all black rubber floor mats from my dealer. I had the equivalent in my old 135i and have been very happy with both. They are thicker and have softer rubber than the weathertech which felt plasticy to me

How about the standard BMW F22 rubber mats? I actually just bought a set from a member here. Simple, nothing fancy. Not my picture but here's how they look like.

I've got with WeatherTech mats for the front, for the rear I will use ones left from my 228i.

When I bought my 228i they included the BMW rubber mats, they were alright but they don't catch everything around the dead pedal and gas pedal. I'm hoping the WeatherTech will work out a bit better. I would get some salt build up in those areas which was then a pain to clean up.
