=> WDYT ?
I've used that ATE fluid over the years too and it was my least favorite.
In fact, the fully WET temp of Catrol SRF of 518F is just below the DRY temp of ATE 200 of 536F. Pretty easy decision.

BTW the SRF Dry temp is 608F.

That is a good routine. You will not have any brake fluid issues.

no doubt always better safe than sorry. I am switching to Castrol srf for my rally car. Mainly for the wet bp performance. We race rain or shine and I understand that absorption occurs more as hot temps cool off, which is many times per day. Have been bleeding every day and sometimes twice per day on a 4/5 day rally.

A little bit off the topic, but what is the setup on your rally car like?

If you're referring to PCA events, that's not true.

We generally change our brake fluid after every track weekend. For the marginal cost of great-quality brake fluid and the ease of flushing the system in less then 30 minutes it is cheap insurance to be sure your brakes are operating at 100%.

We use a pressurized system that holds 1 bar or more of pressure consistently. With 2 bleeders per caliper on some of these sport calipers, it is a race against time to do it all properly in 30 minutes.

I recall reading that, but perhaps I'm recalling incorrectly. They also require a fire bottle bolted to the car, so their sessions are not necessarily easy to attend.

By fire bottle do you mean fire extinguisher? If so, that is incorrect. It is NOT required. PCA events are some of the easiest to attend in my experience...at least the chapter events I've attended.
