This is a interesting topic. I liked the article and comparison. When I was younger (much younger) I was a hardecore Ford enthusiast. Both my parents worked for Ford so I was kind of biased. My dream car for a while was an 82 Mustang GT, then an 85. I went into the military and met some BMW guys, but at that time I never took BMW's as serious performance cars, just nice cars for people who had money.

Fast forward several years and I bought my first Bmw, and E36 M3. Although I like a lot of cars, I've been a BMW enthusiast since. I agree that Ford has stepped up their game bigtime. if I were rich, I'd definitely get a Gt350R along with an M2.
