Thanks for all the great features the application has so far BimmerCode . I understand Stephen might add this as a feature in a next upgrade of the app.
I am sharing this info out confirming I was able to code under Expert Mode the screen sharing for Android. I use iPhone's but have always had an Android around to use Torque which displays lots of info needed. This will help on track days. Searching around I found the following list of parameters which I coded in Expert Mode using your APP. Thanks to Almaretto and Gabrola I coded all these parameters to be aktiv and now my iDrive menu is showing the Screen Mirroring option. Had trouble initially connecting the phone but it was because its an older Android, tried with Galaxy S6 and S5 and it works.

App was really easy to use, I coded video while moving, automatic radio off when door opens, ASD off (what a difference, I like it), mirrors folding and opening automatically.
I too lost my mirror tilt on reverse. I checked and I have the button pushed all the way to the right (passenger) but it still does not tilt. Any suggestions? Edit. Flipped the switch to drivers side then back to passenger and it's working now. Great app Last edited by Mr 2; 05-25-2017 at 10:24 PM.. |

Which option is it for turning radio off when door opens? I'm sure it may have been mentioned before however I seem to be failing at finding it.

Yes, get Torque Pro, I believe it was 5-6 bucks back years ago, it provides more info and features.

Kindof off topic but this is the best place to pose this question... I am shooting a film and need to figure out the simplest way to reset the module that shows the M boot animation. I have to shoot multiple takes of a person getting into the drivers seat, starting the car and witnessing the M logo animation.
After testing it, if I am in the headunit module and toggle any setting on/off. Can I then hit "code" to reset the module and thus restart the animation. But what I'm hoping is that there is a way to reset the car so that I can make the M animation play when the vehicle starts(like it randomly does from time to time in the real world)? Thanks in advance for any insight! Last edited by M2OG; 05-28-2017 at 08:00 PM.. |

Someone explained that its because the head unit has not fully turned off and when you turn on the car again its already loaded up.
Read it in this same thread, so if you are using the car, turn off and then turn back on it might not load because the head unit had not turned off completely before your next startup.
